- Adjustable Boom: The boom extends to four locations with a quick-release pin and changes the angle using a ratchet.
- Corrosion Resistant Finish: Electrostatic powder-coated cranes and stainless steel fasteners work together to prevent corrosion in adverse conditions. Other options include galvanised, stainless steel, and epoxy coatings.
- Manual or Power Operation: Thern davit cranes can be equipped with either a manual winch for short, occasional lifts or a power winch for longer lifts or heavy loads. Choose from Thern's spur or worm gear hand winches or power winches that operate on 115/1/60V, pneumatic, hydraulic, or DC voltage.
- Easy Assembly/Disassembly: Quick-release Clevis-style stainless steel pins facilitate simple installation and removal for travel or storage. No tools are required.
- Variety of Bases (sold separately): Pedestal, flush, and wall mount bases provide a number of mounting options and can be quickly fitted to a variety of solid surfaces using anchor bolts or other attaching techniques. Bases are offered separately. The supplied base cap keeps water and debris out of the base when the crane is removed.
- Boom and Outer Mast Rotate: The boom and mast are supported by tapered roller bearings and needle bearings, which enable smooth 360° rotation. The outer mast locks into one of twelve places at 30° increments using a locking pin. A rotational handle on the outside mast allows for simple rotation.
- Welded Steel Construction: The crane boom, mast, and base are made of heavy-duty welded structural steel pipe and tubing, which limits deflection and fulfils ASTM standards.
