Hoist UK offer a range of radio control solutions for use with a single hoist or complete crane systems.
The hard wearing and robust designs allows for use in even the harshest environments, transmitters are manufactured from SBS plastic and the receivers are housed in IP55 water tight casings making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Hoist UK radio control systems operate a full category 3 safety system and are fully compliant with the Machinery Directive and in accordance with EU standards (safety of machinery and radio remote control).

Our customer contacted us to discuss a retrofitting a radio control system to a crane already installed and in use within their industrial application.
When our customer contacted us they had a strong idea of the type of radio control system they were looking for but they were unsure of how feasible it was to retrospectively configure a radio control receiver and transmitter to their existing crane system.

Newer overhead cranes and hoists now include radio control configuration as either a standard feature or an optional extra. Similarly, older cranes and hoists can be upgraded to have a receiver installed that would facilitate the installation of a radio control system in place of the traditional cabled pendant control option.
