Ceiling mounted articulated jib cranes can be mounted to a ceiling or platform mounted to a suitable supporting structure (where it is safe to do so). If the Ceiling Mounted Jib Crane is mounted to a platform supported from girder bridge crane it allows for greater movement outside the normal coverage of a bridge crane, and the jib is then able to swing under obstructions.

These jib cranes are ideally suited to application whereby loads need to be moved around corners, reach into machines or doorways and swing under obstructions. This versatile crane is perfect in applications that require an operator to rotate the jib in close to the pivot point.
