A range of standard light crane system components in steel and aluminium for loads from 125kg to 2,000kg.
Eurosystem from Verlinde gives a practical solution for your handling needs in large facilities and the components are compact offering an efficient use of space. It is a completely modular system allowing you to create simple or complex systems with direction changes through switches and turntables.
Reduced headroom units are available for increased working height with a variety of suspensions and fixings making it suitable for all types of buildings and structures.
Eurosystem ALU offers a completely modular system for single and double girder beams, with fixed and articulating bridges, providing a true lightweight crane system.
Before you chose an overhead crane there are important factors to consider, including your desired load capacity, service rating, mechanical and electrical components, remote/radio control, as well as pivotal factors and limitations of your facility which includes building size, obstructions, installation, inspection and preventative maintenance.
The National Theatre required an overhead crane system to be installed on the scene dock for the Dorfman Theatre to assist their teams with set builds.
The crane system the NT required would need to maximise their operational space and to achieve this a low headroom solution would be the best choice. The work space’s ceiling where the crane is to be installed was not entirely level, so our engineers would need to plan and agree a suitable suspension method for the crane.READ MORE
This busy manufacturing plant needed a bespoke crane system to be designed, manufactured and installed with minimal disruption to their operation.
Works had recently been completed at the plant and due to the tight production schedule there was no scope to move machinery, ducting or conveyor equipment. Our installations team had to plan working around the existing machinery and would also need to complete installation had to be completed and satisfactorily tested during a very brief shutdown and maintenance window.READ MORE
A series of lightweight 250kg, 500kg and 1,000kg manual overhead cranes for sensitive equipment handling and maintenance.
Due to the nature of the clients facility and the overhead crane systems being set within the roofs of the chambers, it was not possible to have parallel running tracks and there was also a requirement to accommodate curves within the track to align to the chamber roof as closely as possible.
Our design team needed to consider a lifting solution with these considerations in mind whilst also addressing the reduced headroom working capacity.READ MORE
We were approached by a Lancaster based manufacturer who required a robust overhead handling solution to safely manoeuvre large, heavy pieces of stone around their workshop providing a maximum load capacity of 630 kg.
A House of Stone’s workshop had a reduced headroom working environment with a unique ceiling structure which would require our teams to design and manufacture bespoke brackets that could support an overhead lifting system.READ MORE
