Features
- Sheave Clevis Pin: The sheave clevis pin is D-shaped, which prevents it from rotating under light loads.
- Corrosion Resistant Finish: Electrostatic powder-coated cranes and stainless steel fasteners work together to prevent corrosion in adverse conditions. Additional options include galvanised, stainless steel, and epoxy coatings.
- 360º Rotation: The Nylatron bearing enables smooth and easy 360° crane rotation when under load.
- Quick-Mount Winch Bracket: The bracket is compatible with a wide range of Thern winches. After attaching a winch, the bracket is readily mounted (without tools) to the crane using quick-connect pins.
- Welded Steel Construction: The crane boom, mast, and base are made of heavy-duty welded structural steel pipe and tubing, which limits deflection and fulfils ASTM standards.
- Quick Disconnect Anchor: A swaged ball fitting facilitates the easy attachment and removal of wire rope. Allows the operator to retain the wire rope attached to the cargo at all times, then easily remove it from the winch and connect it to the optional wire rope keeper or cable reel.
- Rotation Handle: The revised rotating handle location does not interfere with the screw jack used to change the boom angle.
- Variety of Bases (sold separately): Pedestal, flush, and wall mount bases provide a number of mounting options and are easily fitted to a variety of solid surfaces using anchor bolts or other attaching techniques. Bases are offered separately. The supplied base cap keeps water and debris out of the base when the crane is removed.
- Easy Assembly/Disassembly: Rapid-release Stainless steel pins in the clevis form make it simple to assemble and quickly disassemble for storage or transportation. No tools are needed.
- Adjustable Boom: The boom may be extended into four places with a quick-release pin, and the angle can be changed with a ratchet.
- Mast Cap: A cap placed on top of the mast keeps weather and debris out.
- Manual or Power Operation: Thern Davit cranes can be set up with a power winch for larger loads or longer lifts or a manual winch for brief, occasional lifts. Thern's spur or worm gear hand winches or power winches with 115/1/60V and DC, hydraulic, or pneumatic power operation are available for selection.
