- Manual or Power Operation: Thern davit cranes can be equipped with either a spur/worm gear manual winch or a power winch. Choose between Thern's spur or worm gear hand winches or a power winch with 115/1/60 as standard. Other voltages are available, as well as pneumatic, hydraulic, and DC-volt power options.
- 360º Rotation: The tapered roller bearing allows for smooth and effortless 360° crane rotation under load.
- Corrosion Resistant Finish: Electrostatic powder-coated cranes and stainless steel fasteners work together to prevent corrosion in adverse environments. Additional options include galvanised, stainless steel, and epoxy coatings.
- Quick Disconnect Anchor: A swaged ball fitting allows for the easy attachment and removal of wire rope. This means the operator can keep the wire rope attached to the load at all times, easily disconnect it from the winch, and connect it to the optional wire rope keeper or cable reel.
- Easy Assembly/Disassembly: Quick-release Clevis-style stainless steel pins facilitate simple installation and removal for travel or storage. No tools are required.
- Adjustable Height and Reach: Sheave adjusts to four different points along the boom, and boom angle varies in height via an easy-to-use adjustment screw.
- Adjustable Winch Mount Plate: The winch mount plate may be adjusted to three positions on the mast and is quickly removed using quick-connect pins. A rotational handle is linked to the winch mounting plate.
- Welded Steel Construction: Crane boom, mast, and base are made of heavy-duty welded structural steel pipe and tubing, which limits deflection and fulfils ASTM standards.
- Variety of Bases (sold separately): Pedestal, flush, and wall mount bases are versatile and easy to install. The heavy-duty base cap provided with the lanyard keeps water and debris out of the base when the crane is withdrawn. Standard powder coat finish for pedestal, flush, and wall mounts. Other finish options include galvanised, stainless steel, and epoxy finishes.
