Pneumatic Rope Balancers
Pneumatic Rope Balancers are an effective, accurate and quick industrial tool used in a variety of industries and the systems normally operate with safe working loads up to 150kg and a working radius of up to 7m with a vertical stroke of 2m.
The system typically consists of a lightweight articulated crane arm that allows the hook or lifting attachment to be positioned for lifting and handling the load with ease throughout your lifting operation. The system is designed to handle loads with different weights, and the operator using the two control levers on the ergonomic handle to control the lifting and the lowering of the load in a smooth and controlled manner.

Technical Information
The Pneumatic Rope Balancers technical features:
- Handling capacity of up to 150kg and a working radius of up to 3m
- The suspended version, coupled to a jib crane or to a suspended light crane bridge and push operated, it is also possible to increase the working area
- The column execution means both of the arms can turn 360° continuously thanks to a rotating joint with internal air passages
- Cleanroom standard Pneumatic Rope Balancers can be supplied
- ATEX rated Ex classified Pneumatic Rope Balancers are also available
- Equipment manufactured completely in stainless steel can be supplied on request
- The useful vertical stroke can vary from 1.5m to 2m

Our customer is a manufacturer of innovative plastic bearing solutions who required a safer solution to lift and handle a component as part of their manufacturing process.
Using our understanding of the customers requirements and their intended application we explored a variety of different options and worked with our customer to find the most appropriate lifting solution for their operational needs. Consideration was given to a potential Jib Crane solution configured with a chain hoist but this didn't meet all of our customers requirements. The main focus was the customer's need for a lifting system that offered one handed operation so that they could eliminate the need for manual handling and streamline their operational efficiencies.
