“We’re delighted to have achieved our Level 3 Gold Membership from Constructionline, this is a true reflection of our continued hard work and commitment to exceeding our customer’s expectations in quality, remembering ‘Safety Above All’ and remaining environmentally aware throughout our operations.”
We are proud to achieve Gold Membership status with Constructionline, an enhanced membership level that we believe demonstrates the calibre of products and services our customers can expect from Hoist UK.
As one of the leading suppliers and manufacturers of lifting and handling equipment for the industrial and entertainment markets in the UK, we continually strive for excellence, and achieving this enhanced level of membership fully demonstrates our commitment to best practice standards for health and safety, quality and environment.
The new Level 3 ‘Gold’ and Level 4 ‘Platinum’ Memberships from Constructionline have increased levels of scrutiny and risk management, through the updated PAS91 Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ), whilst also providing buyers with real-time updates on non-conformities across their entire supply chain. This gives buyers security and confidence when choosing a supplier.
To achieve Gold Membership, applicants must complete an extended verified PQQ and its health and safety standard must meet the criteria of Constructionline’s Safety Systems in Procurement (SSIP) scheme. Hoist UK have also provided additional evidence about its legal compliance in key areas such as Modern Slavery, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, and Equal Opportunities.
“By achieving Gold Membership, Hoist UK has demonstrated to Constructionline buyers that our robust systems and processes have been subjected to increased scrutiny around governance and risk management. We are also very active in achieving a range of other quality standards expected by our customers to allow us to operate in many sectors across the UK.
Hoist UK have recently received a Health and Safety Accreditation from Acclaim Accreditation to certify that ‘Hoist UK has demonstrated that is has the necessary organisational capability in relation to skills, knowledge and experience to carry out work in a way that secures health and safety to the standards required under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015’ for Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP).
John Edmunds, MD of Constructionline recently said “we know that buying organisations are increasingly aware of the risk that can be introduced into any project through its supply chain. This new tiered approach to supplier assessment gives buyers more robust risk management and increases their confidence by providing real-time updates on their entire supply chain from a single platform”.
