Recognising Excellence
The Engineering College is the only dedicated skills provider in the North West and through we currently have a number of apprentice engineers undertaking training and qualifications with the college.
Tom Bradley is an apprentice electro-mechanical engineer at Hoist UK and was recently nominated by the college within it's Pre-Apprentice of The Year Award category, and successfully reached the final stages of the judging. Tom received a special commendation and a Finalists Certificate for being one of three candidates to reach the finals out of a large pool of nominations.
The Awards event held at The Engineering College on Thursday 9th November 2017 celebrated the achievements of many Engineering Apprentices across 11 categories and involvement from some of the regions largest manufacturers, including Cammell Laird's.
