Hoist UK are a well-established lifting and handling equipment manufacturer and supplier and we are looking for a professional individual to support us in the growth of our business in the role of Internal Sales Engineer.
Salary: Dependant on experience
Location: Moreton, Wirral
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
Holidays: 20 days per year, increasing 1 day every year to a maximum of 25 days
Types of Enquiries
We supply and manufacture lifting and handling equipment to the entertainment and industrial market sectors, and as such you will receive a variety of enquiries for each of the different sub-sectors within each market sector, including but no limited to:
- General industry / manufacturing
- Cleanroom / hygienic (including pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, food preparation and aerospace / space)
- Petro-chemical / offshore (ATEX)
- Veterinary / equine facilities
- Retail
- Churches and places of worship
- Theatres
- Stadia
- Aerial Performances
- Museums
- Schools, colleges and universities
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well within a team but also be capable of working well individually. An aptitude for retaining technical information and being able to carry out research proactively and independently to develop an understanding of our products. It is also important that the candidate be computer literate, competent with Microsoft Office applications and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
The position is full time, working from 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday at our offices in Moreton, Wirral, and will be permanent following the completion of a satisfactory probationary period. There is also the opportunity for professional development and formal industry training from the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).
The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels across the business, an organised and methodical approach to their work, and self-motivated.
The Particulars
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the UK lifting equipment / crane industry is preferable and an engineering background would be advantageous but not essential, as full training and support will be given.
The position is permanent (following a probationary period) with a competitive salary dependent upon experience and skills.
