Hoist UK at Young Chamber Career and Skills Show

As part of our social responsibility charter, Hoist UK will be appearing at the 2019 Young Chamber Career and Skills Show on the 6th March at The Hive Youth Zone, Birkenhead.

We will be hosting our own “inspiration station”, with our Director Paul Jordan and John Grimshaw, who is an Autodesk Certified Instructor present. The team will be providing sessions with Autodesk's Fusion 360, showing how 3D design flows into industry and the benefits of being an engineer.

With over 50 years’ collective experience in the engineering industry, Paul, and John will be on hand to offer some valuable insights into starting a career in engineering. The Fusion 360 workshop will give visitors a rare opportunity to have hands-on experience with the powerful design software used by engineers. Paul and John will provide an understanding of how 3D modelling and design is a large part of many aspects of the engineering industry. They will also explain how, when starting a career in engineering, having skills and experience with CAD can be a great advantage.
