Saturday 1st February saw Hoist UK hold their first ever charity race night in aid of Wirral Hospice St John's at Tranmere Rovers Football Club in which they raised a staggering £3,100.
Taking part in the charities ‘get nifty with your fifty’ challenge, Hoist UK were given just £50 from which they had to create the most profit to give back to Wirral Hospice St John's.
With just a month to plan the event, Hoist UK managed to create a sold out event of over 130 people in attendance at the football club, with people from all over the Wirral peninsula attending including friends and family of the company, supporters of the hospice and others from within the community. Many local businesses contributed to the success of the event such as: Russell Bland, Nick Barwell, Wirral Chamber of Commerce, Woodside Ferry Village, Mole Group and many, many others!
The night was a huge success for both Hoist UK and Wirral Hospice, raising vital funds for a charity that has helped countless families across the Wirral.
Following this, Hoist UK was then invited to a thank you ceremony at Tranmere Rovers Football Club on Thursday 12th March, where they were awarded ‘Most profit generated’ and given a trophy which now takes pride of place in the company’s conference room.
Hoist UK believe passionately about championing charities so close to home, that do such brilliant work to support the Wirral community.
