ST Lightweight Monorail Crane (Steel) Eurosystem

Verlinde Eurosystem gives a practical solution for your handling needs in large facilities and the components are compact offering an efficient use of space. Suspended or short headroom single girder crane suitable for loads from 125kg to 2000kg and the system is based on a special hollow profile, which is manufactured in cold formed sheet metal in order to obtain an extremely smooth and regular surface.

The closed structure of the profile makes it possible to keep the inside of the running surface clean. The system is suspended on trolleys, the crane beam travels along the length of the runway profiles manually or electrically.

An outstanding rolling friction coefficient guarantees smooth low-noise movement. The trolley wheels are made of nylon, and the contact surface inside the profiles is reduced.

Thanks to the modular design of Eurosystem light crane range, it is possible to motorise a manual trolley later on.

Variety of possibilities:

  • Reduced headroom providing increased working height
  • Easy movement thanks to excellent rolling friction coefficient
  • Easily extendable monorail tracks, runways, circuits, thanks to the modular system design
  • Installation and fixation is done by simple bolting

OVERHEAD CRANE SYSTEM FOR THE SCENE DOCK AT THE NATIONAL THEATRE'S 'DORFMAN THEATRE'

The National Theatre required an overhead crane system to be installed on the scene dock for the Dorfman Theatre to assist their teams with set builds.

The crane system the NT required would need to maximise their operational space and to achieve this a low headroom solution would be the best choice. The work space’s ceiling where the crane is to be installed was not entirely level, so our engineers would need to plan and agree a suitable suspension method for the crane.

BESPOKE MONORAIL HOISTING SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATED VERTICAL OSCILLATION ELEMENT FOR AEROSPACE CUSTOMER

Our aerospace customer required a lifting and handling solution that could hold components in a stable, level and fixed condition whilst performing a smooth, automated vertical oscillation.

The crane system is designed for operation on a chemical process line facility with aggressive acidic conditions running 10 operation per hour on a 24 hour basis, with the system holding a fixture containing components in a stable level and fixed condition, whilst performing an automated smooth vertical oscillation. Given the non-stop operational times access was a challenge for this project. Installation and testing needed to be completed with minimal disruption to the customers operation.

PARTICLE ACCELERATION EXPERIMENTS, BARCELONA

A series of lightweight 250kg, 500kg and 1,000kg manual overhead cranes for sensitive equipment handling and maintenance.

Due to the nature of the clients facility and the overhead crane systems being set within the roofs of the chambers, it was not possible to have parallel running tracks and there was also a requirement to accommodate curves within the track to align to the chamber roof as closely as possible.

Our design team needed to consider a lifting solution with these considerations in mind whilst also addressing the reduced headroom working capacity.
