The G.Stop 7 fall arrester is manufactured in the UK using precision machined components. The internal components are manufactured using bronze, stainless steel and aluminium. The G.Stop 7 fall arrester offers the user full protection from falling whilst allowing complete mobility when working at height. If a fall was to occur, the steel cable is extracted from the unit at an accelerating rate; when a cable speed of 1.5m/sec is reached, the braking system is then activated. Once activated, the fall is quickly and smoothly arrested, applying minimal force to the user's body. Once the load is released, the cable automatically retracts back into the fall arrester.
The G.Stop 7 fall arrester can be mounted vertically above the user or horizontally, in conjunction with a suitable anchorage point.
