The Wirral Business Awards 2019 is one of the largest and most impressive business events in the North West, organised by Mills Media Creative in partnership with the Wirral Chamber of Commerce. The awards recognise the outstanding innovation by companies and individuals across the spectrum of Wirral's business community.
Paul Jordan, director of Hoist UK, received recognition in the category 'Business Person of the Year' sponsored by Justine Jones from HR GO recruitment, who specialise in commercial, technical engineering and industrial recruitment. The judges searched for an outstanding individual that has demonstrated initiative, drive and leadership to bring financial and non-financial gain to their organisation.

The award ceremony for this year's winners of the Wirral Business Awards 2019 was announced on Friday 21st June held at the Floral Pavilion and attended by over 400 of the region's leading business people. Speaking about the award winners, Paula Basnett, CEO of Wirral Chamber of Commerce, said "This is an amazing night when the very best businesses in the region come together to celebrate their success and achievements. This year's awards have welcomed a record number of entries from a rich diversity of sectors; a diversity that has gained Wirral a reputation of excellence both nationally and internationally"
